PURPOSE: A sliding door closing prevention device for a vehicle is provided to make a door check spring have horizontally symmetrical form, thereby commonly using the spring to a left and a right sliding doors. CONSTITUTION: A door check spring(72) for fixing a sliding door(10) is horizontally symmetrically formed about an elastic protrusion(72b). Thus, a sliding door closing prevention device(70) is commonly applied to a left and a right sliding doors. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of the sliding door closing prevention device is reduced and the wrong assembly of the device is prevented. Further, on parking at a steep slope site, the sealing phenomenon of the sliding door by external force is prevented, thereby securing the safety of passengers.
