METHOD FOR MULTIPLEXING VARIOUS CHANNELS OF LOW TRANSFER RATE AT HIGH TRANSFER RATE

PURPOSE: A method for multiplexing various channels of a low transfer rate at a high transfer rate is provided to extract a frame of 2048Kbps by dividing each channel into basic channels and using each basic channel as the input of a multiplexer. CONSTITUTION: If a channel is inputted, a multiplexer confirms the coding method and speed of the inputted channel. The multiplexer judges whether the channel uses a CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) method as a frame error correction method(1101). If the channel uses the CRC method, the multiplexer checks the channel as "110" to indicate that it is a 64Kbps channel using a PCM coding method(1102,1103). The multiplexer divides the channel into four 2-bit basic channels(Bc1/4 to Bc4/4)(1104). The multiplexer allocates the four basic channels to a time slot(1105). The multiplexer appoints signaling information to the 16th time slot(1106). Then the multiplexer confirms whether the configuration of one multiframe has been completed(1107).
