PURPOSE: A fin tube heat exchanger is provided, in which arrangement of heat transfer pipes is maintained optimum, to thereby reduce pressure loss and improve heat exchange performance, while reducing manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A fin tube heat exchanger comprises a heat transfer pipe(100) along which fluid flows; and a cooling fin(200) onto which the heat transfer pipe is coupled, in such a manner that the low pitch(L2) formed in the air flow direction satisfies the relation of D < 1.8-2.2, with respect to the diameter(D) of the heat transfer pipe, and the step pitch(S2) formed in the vertical direction with respect to the air flow direction satisfies the relation of D< 3.3-4.5. A protrusion(220) which is opened in correspondence with the fluid flow direction, is arranged between thus-coupled heat transfer pipes.
