PURPOSE: A method for recognizing a connection for expanding a movable flexibility of a multi database application is provided to increase a movable flexibility of a multi database by supporting that a user properly selects a duplication of a related database in case that the user uses a multi database application. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a local duplication of a database or a server duplication of a database is used(201). In case that a duplication of a database which a user prefers to is the local duplication, it is confirmed whether the local duplication exists(202). In case of existing, the local duplication is used(209). In case that the local duplication doesn't exist, it is confirmed whether a connection state(203). In case of the connection state, it is confirmed whether the server duplication is used(204). In case that the user selects the server duplication, the server duplication is used(205). In case that a duplication of the database which the user prefers to is the server duplication, it is confirmed whether a connection state(206). It is confirmed whether the local duplication exists(207). It is confirmed whether the local duplication is used to the user(208). In case that the user selects the local duplication, the local duplication is used(209).
