摘要 PURPOSE: A method of compensating automatically gain of an oscilloscope is provided which solves vertical-axis gain by varying VRT using a fixed resistor and digital/analog converter to compensate the vertical-axis gain by Volt/div easily and accurately. CONSTITUTION: When an input voltage is transmitted, the input voltage is divided with the first voltage division ratio and amplified to generate the first measurement voltage. The first measurement voltage is divided with the predetermined second voltage division ratio using a fixed resistor and amplified to generate the second measurement voltage and, simultaneously, a predetermined reference voltage is input to a system. Then, the second measurement voltage is converted into a digital signal using an analog/digital converter having a specific scale to be stored in a memory. It is judged if the stored digital signal can be displayed corresponding to the scale of the analog/digital converter. When it is judged that the signal can be displayed, the digital signal is displayed. On the other hand, when it is judged that the signal cannot be displayed, the upper voltage standard of the analog/digital converter is varied using a digital/analog converter.
