METHOD FOR PREPARING WATERPROOF RUBBER SHEET BY USING WASTE TIRE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a waterproof rubber sheet by using a waste tire is provided. The waterproof rubber sheet is not affected by the weather or the change of the temperature, shortens the working time for constructing an adhering connection, completely reduces the defect generation rate and semi-permanently extends the waterproofability. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) pulverizing waste tire into rubber powder having a particle size of 30-50 mesh; (ii) adding 30-40 part by weight of an emulsion mixture of an ethylene vinyl acetate and an acrylic resin to 100 part by weight of the rubber powder prepared from the step (i); and (iii) after adding a water-repellent waterproof agent to the mixture of the step (ii) and stirring them, adhering the prepared mixture to a non woven fabric or a similar fabric thereto and drying them.
