PURPOSE: A method for operating the menu of a mobile terminal is provided to simplify a complicated menu approach method by selecting desired menu items and setting up a menu composed of the selected menu items. CONSTITUTION: If a user executes menu editing to edit a menu(201), a basic menu is displayed. If the user selects one of the items of the basic menu, a sub menu for the selected item is displayed. The user checks and selects desired check boxes displayed beside the items of the basic menu and sub menus in order to decide whether he will use the selected items(202). If the user executes the menu(203), the selected items are displayed as the first sub menus so that he can easily approach the menu items(204). |
