INFORMATION SERVICE SYSTEM USING BAR CODE AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An information service system using bar code and a method thereof are provided to offer various business service on line by constructing a bar code support system using the Internet, by receiving bar code information from a wireless terminal, and by checking a bar code transmitted to the wireless terminal in a bar code system of a member store. CONSTITUTION: An information service system using a bar code in a wireless terminal is equipped with an Internet network(100), a bar code issuing server(10), a communication businessman(20), a wireless terminal(30), a bar code reader(40) and a bar code reference computer(50). The wireless terminal(30) is connected to the Internet network in wireless. The communication businessman(20) corresponds to a request received from the wireless terminal(30), and connects to a specific web site of the Internet network(100). The bar code reader(40) is installed in the bard code issuing server(10) and a member store. The bar code reference computer(50) is composed of a central system of the member store of the bar code issuing server(10). The computer(50) analyzes bar code information read from the bar code reader(40). The bar code issuing server(10) is composed of a firewall server(10-1), a web server(10-2), a database(10-3), a bar code generation unit(10-4), a control unit(10-5) and an application program(10-6).
