PURPOSE: A trunk lid ratchet assembly is provided to lock a ratchet assembly only by a locking switch installed at a glove box to prevent a locking lever from being exposed to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A trunk lid ratchet assembly includes a longitudinal hole(1) formed at a ratchet plate(52) and a pole(4). The pole is mounted movably to the longitudinal hole and is connected with a locking plate(54) by a spring(2), has a stop part(3) restraining the rotation of a switchgear(55) formed thereon and is actuated by the operation of the locking switch inside a glove box. The switchgear is restrained and released by the operation of the pole without a separate locking lever.
