PURPOSE: A convection device of a microwave oven is provided to efficiently heat food by directly transferring heat to the food in the center of a cavity. CONSTITUTION: A convection device of a microwave oven includes a heater chamber(36) installed in one portion of a cavity(20), a housing(30) having a supply part(22) communicated with the cavity and an inlet part(38) communicated with the heater chamber, heaters(32a,32b) installed in the housing to generate heat, a fan(34) installed in the housing to form a convection airflow, and intake parts(24a,24b) formed outside the housing to suck the air in the cavity into the heater chamber. The heat supplied into the cavity via the fan directly contacts to food therebelow. Therefore, the food is promptly heated.
