Transport system for shell structure welding devices

The transport equipment has overhead transport tracks for bringing welding assemblies to and from the welding points. Crossw and between the overhead transport tracks (9,10) on both sides of a clamping device (1) for the welding assemblies are guide supports (4) on which a boom (5) can move. On both sides of the boom facing the transport tracks are vertically displaceable main slides, each with two opposing guide tracks. On each guide track of the main slides facing the transport tracks are vertically displaceable gripper slides (16). Betw the main slides on the boom, drive motors are installed for a main slide and its gripper slide.
