PURPOSE: A call connection method between an IGU(Internet Gateway Unit) AO/DI(Always On/Dynamic ISDN) and an ISP(Internet Service Provider) is provided so that an ISDN BRI(Basic Rate Interface) subscriber can execute Internet call connection after separating the Internet traffic generated from subscribers using an unused D-channel according to called numbers and linking it with an IGU and an ISP. CONSTITUTION: If an ISDN BRI subscriber clicks on a D-channel at an AO/DI dedicated connection window set by a program of a PC, a setup message to connect the D-channel is transmitted to a subscriber board(201). The subscriber board transmits the setup message to a TEI(202). The TEI analyzes the setup message and transmits the traffic dependent on the D-channel to a PHM(Packet Handling Module)(203). The PHM transmits a response message to notify the ISDN BRI subscriber that the setup message has been normally received. At the same time, the PHM transmits a path setup request message to an IGU(204). After setting up the path to the PC, the IGU executes control to set up the path to an ISP through a PSDN(A)(205). If the path to the PC is set up, a DAC(Digital Analog Converter) provides an initial screen to the PC through the path(206). The ISDN BRI subscriber inputs a digit to select a desired ISP on the initial screen(207). The DAC, receiving the digit, requests the PC to input a login and a password(208). Then the DAC judges whether the subscriber is suitable for accessing the ISP(209). If the subscriber is suitable for accessing the ISP, the DAC allocates an IP address to him(211). If the IP address is allocated, the IGU accesses the ISP through the PSDN(A) and controls the execution of an Internet call service(212).
