PURPOSE: Angiogenesis inhibitors containing arginine deiminase separated from a microorganism such as Mycoplasma arginini as an effective component are provided, which can be used for the prevention and treatment of angiogenesis related diseases. CONSTITUTION: The titled angiogenesis inhibitors contain arginine deiminase as an effective component and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The arginine deiminase is a recombination protein and the recombination arginine deiminase is a protein coded by polynucleotide of an ordinal number, equivalent material thereof or derivatives thereof.
