PURPOSE: To provide a method of constructing a passenger conveyer without a leg body, vertically provided on floors for installing a passenger conveyer and capable of curing the passenger conveyer. CONSTITUTION: A curing utensil 6 for covering the entire region of one side of an escalator 1 is provided with a frame 7 and a net 8 mounted on the frame 7. The frame 7 is provided with an overhanging parts 9, 10 fixed to a frame 2 for forming the body of the escalator 1. Respective holes 11, 12 provided in the overhanging parts 9, 10 are fitted to respective holes 13, 14 provided in the frame 2. A bolt 15 is inserted in the holes 11, 13 for fastening. Inserting a bolt 16 in holes 12, 14 for fastening holds the curing utensil 6 on the escalator 1. Thus, the escalator 1 is cured without a leg body vertically provided on an upper stair floor 20, a lower stair floor 21, and a stair 22.
