PURPOSE: A silver containing tile is provided, which is useful to a human body and has excellent sterilizing effect. Also a method for preparing the same is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) mixing an organic material selected from clay, feldspar, silica, pottery stone, zeolite and mixtures thereof with 3% of germanium, 10 part per million of an ionic water wherein 1% of fine silver powder is dissolved and alginic acid extracted from seaweed, fingerfish; (ii) either solidifying the mixture of the step (i) at room temperature or heating the mixture of the step (i) at a temperature of 900-1,300 deg.C and then solidifying it; (iii) coating the solidified matter of the step (ii) with a glaze prepared by mixing 5% of germanium, 2% of fine silver, 20 part per million of an aqueous solution of silver ion and alginic acid; (iv) passing the glaze coated solidified matter through strong magnetic field and molding it into a certain size of tile.
