PURPOSE: A suspended material inflow preventing equipment of vertical moving type according to water level is provided, which can float vertically freely without any separation from a guide rail along guide grooves formed on the guide rail and guide projections fixed on the supporting body and inserted into the guide grooves according to water level of the area where a water intake tower is installed for preventing inflow of suspended material. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a working deck (4) in which many buoyance bodies are fixed inside the bed area and a suspended material net is set around the outer peripheral, which moves vertically along a vertical guide rail (6) according to water level at a water intake tower; and (ii) a supporting body (8) that has three guide projections (8a) which are inserted into guide grooves (6a) formed in the vertical guide rail (6) for guiding moving of the deck (4) according to water level to prevent any inflow of suspended material.
