PURPOSE: A DC power charging apparatus for terminals is provided to charge batteries so as to operate terminals regardless of input voltage, by installing a charging unit in the terminal that utilizes DC power. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a power input unit having a DC power input jack(30), and which supplies DC power received from an external source; a constant voltage IC(28) for outputting a voltage having a predetermined size; a control unit(26) for sensing temperature rise of a battery(20) and performing temperature comparison for preventing life shortening or explosion of the battery, sensing voltage change and turning off a switch(SW1) so as to prevent over-charge of the battery, and discriminating an input voltage(Vin) and outputting a PWM control signal for obtaining a predetermined output voltage(Vout); and a buck circuit terminal(29) for controlling the volume of the current and determining charging time.
