PURPOSE: A cold and hot water purifier is provided, which supplies water according to output signals of photosensors and weight detecting sensors and can prevent any burn caused by children's curious or playful operation. The system can also solve the inconvenience of installing lever at a discharge line. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a main body (30) which consists of a heating device (32), a cooling device (34), a dissected part (36), first and second discharge lines (38,40), a pair of first and second guide pieces (42,44), first and second guide grooves (46,48) and a guide plate (50); (ii) first and second photosensor (52,54) for detecting presence of material between the guide pieces (42,44) and for outputting resist value according to detected signal; (iii) first and second weight detecting sensors (56,58); (iv) a control part for comparing resist values of photosensors (52,54) and weight detecting sensors (56,58) with standard value and for selectively outputting control signal; (v) a first connecting pipe (62) one end of which is fixed to the heating device (32) and the other side of which is fixed to first discharge line (38); (vi) a second connecting pipe (64) one end of which is fixed to the cooling device (34) and the other side of which is fixed to the second discharge line (40); (vi) a valve (66) for selectively controlling feed and cutting of water according to control signal; and (vii) a control switch (68) for selectively controlling detected signal of the weight detecting sensors (56,58).
