The axle is resiliently guided on an axle block by means of a fluid cylinder (22) and cross guide rod (24). The axle block f a frame with fitment surfaces (10, 11) directed down on each side onto which a cast intermediate plate (30) is screwed. The plat forms between flange edges (31) having corresponding fitment faces (32) an upwardly curved inner part (34) and sockets (36, 37) the ends of the cylinder and guide rod which are attached to the vehicle.
