Quilted-top featherbed

The quilted-top featherbed includes a conventional featherbed (12), which is adapted and arranged to lie on top of a conventional bed mattress and is filled with feathers. A quilted-top member (14) is secured around the periphery thereof to the featherbed, wherein the top member comprises successive layers of woven fabric (30), polyester batting (32) and nonwoven fabric (34), the three layers being secured together by a quilted stitching pattern.
