PURPOSE: Provided is a rooftop afforesting system structure including a grade adjusting insulation material or a water storing and drainage insulation plate, which can form a green zone on the rooftop simply without adding fertile soil or applying extra manure to the filed. CONSTITUTION: The structure is constructed by the following steps of: (i) laying a thin P.E. film(3) on the bottom face(2) of the rooftop to prevent moisture generated from the concrete slab from being permeated the bottom; (ii) forming a heatproof layer by putting an insulation material(4) on the P.E. film; (iii) adjusting the grade of the rooftop face by assembling and placing panels(5) made of E.P.S on the insulation material; (iv) forming a waterproof layer by installing thin film(8) made of PVC/P.O between thin P.P. nonwoven fabric placed at the top and the bottom sides and a side wall of the rooftop; (v) a water storage and drainage layer with a water chamber and a drainageway formed by assembling high density insulation panels(9) made of E.P.S. with each other; (vi) forming a water filtration layer by spreading nonwoven fabric(10) made of P.P. on the insulation material; (vii) spreading soil(11) prepared by mixing natural volcanic rock of which particle sizes are classified with organic and inorganic matters needed for plant growth on the filtration layer; and (viii) sowing seeds of plant to the enriched soil and watering the seeds. |
