PURPOSE: An auxiliary outlet for absorbing electromagnetic waves is provided to efficiently absorb the unwanted electromagnetic waves induced to an electric device by grounding an outlet with a selecting switch of an auxiliary outlet. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary outlet for absorbing electromagnetic waves includes a switching unit connected in between A and B terminals of an outlet hole of a body connected with a plug of an electric device to selectively switch three connecting terminals(U,L and N), a diagnosis unit connected to both ends of the switching unit to visually and auditorily informing of the non-grounded state of the electric device when the switching unit is switched to the U terminal, and a grounding unit connected to one end of the switching unit to absorb the unwanted electromagnetic waves induced to the electric device when the switching unit is switched to the L terminal.
