METHOD FOR PREPARING TITANIUM TETRA ISOPROPOXIDE FROM TITANIUM TETRACHLORIDE AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for preparing titanium tetra isopropoxide from titanium tetrachloride and a manufacturing device therefor are provided which reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the purity of the titanium tetra isopropoxide by using a simple manufacturing device and a cheap manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing device comprises: (i) a flowmeter(1); (ii) a dry trap for silicagel(2); (iii) a dry trap for aluminum isopropoxide and benzene; (iv) a dry trap for NaOH (v) a dry trap for CaO; (vi) a thermometer; (vii) a funnel; (viii) a condenser; (ix) a trap for aluminum isopropoxide and benzene; (x) a vacuum pump(10); and (xi) a product bottle(11). The titanium tetra isopropoxide is prepared by mixing TiCl4 and isopropanol and then adding NH3 gas thereto.
