PURPOSE: An impact beam supporting structure is provided to prevent an impact beam of a door is pushed into a vehicle by the impact due to a side collision of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A latch(10) installed to a door(1) is formed to have "C"-shaped section and has one side fixed to an inner panel(1'') of the door and the other side supporting an impact beam. A fixing groove is formed on the latch where a striker(6) contacts with for a hook(5) to be inserted into. When an impact occurs on a side surface of a vehicle, that is from the "A" direction, the impact given to the impact beam is transmitted to a car body via the latch supporting the impact beam and the striker connected with the latch.
