PURPOSE: A method for producing salt baked in a bamboo tube by using crushed elvan radiating far infrared rays is provided to serve high functional salt product having excellent pharmacological effects. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by the following steps of: (i) putting bay salt crushed and passed through a sieve of 50mesh and elvan pieces of 10mm-20mm mixed in a ratio of 1:1-10:1 in a bamboo tube and covering the top of the tube with dough made of elvan powder of 325mesh; (ii) firing the stuffed bamboo tube by keeping at 250deg.C for 2hrs to evaporate and remove volatile organic matter, at 430deg.C for 5hrs to and at 750deg.C for 3hrs and cooling the tube; (iii) getting baked bamboo salt by dusting ash of the burnt bamboo and lump of elvan from the surface of column of salt left from burning the bamboo tube and crushing the salt to separate the elvan pieces included in the salt. The baked salt can be melted at 1050deg.C for 3hrs, quick frozen on a titanium plate placed on the water and pulverized into powdered melted bamboo salt.
