PURPOSE: A cavity oscillator is provided, in which a piezo-electric ceramic is employed to adjust oscillation frequency, to thereby allow the oscillation frequency to be easily adjusted, while lengthening useful life of the oscillator. CONSTITUTION: A cavity oscillator comprises a cavity(C) formed by wrapping a predetermined space with a conductive material; a dielectric resonator-oscillator(DRO)(10) installed at the bottom surface of the cavity, and which generates and outputs oscillation frequency upon supply of an input voltage(Vin) from an external source; and a piezo-electric ceramic(20) installed at the inner top surface of the cavity to be opposed to the DRO, and which generates and outputs electrical signals for varying the oscillation frequency of the DRO in accordance with a control voltage(Vc) applied from an external source.
