PURPOSE: A device is provided to sense a work piece position by a cylinder backward motion when the work piece is sensed by a pneumatic cylinder during loading a work peace by robot. Thereby a work piece loading is achieved after having precisely identified thereof without damaging any size of the work piece. CONSTITUTION: A device comprises an air cylinder in the middle of a moving table center having four vacuum chucks(10), a lead switch(21) for identifying the cylinder forward motion at the front of an outer surface for the pneumatic cylinder, a lead switch(21) detecting a work piece-location in the middle surface, a lead switch(23) identifying the cylinder backward motion on a rear face, and a piston(24) moving in the cylinder depending on the applied pneumatic pressure and the outer pressure applied to a self shaft, and having the electromotive force by providing the magnetism to the lead switches(21,22,23).
