PURPOSE: A communication equipment protector is provided, in which the protector is installed at the inlet side of LAN or communication equipment, to thereby protect LAN or communication equipment from over-voltage or over-current applied from an external source. CONSTITUTION: A communication equipment protector comprises a PCB(1) where a circuit line to be inserted into the inlet side of a protector module is printed; the first over-voltage protecting element(2) for protecting the PCB from over-voltage caused due to lightning; the second over-voltage protecting element(3) arranged underneath the first over-voltage protecting element and which protects the equipment from the over-voltage caused to the lightning from an area with high occurrence frequency of lightning activity; a ground terminal(4) arranged onto the first over-voltage protecting element so as to ground over-voltage; and a pair of over-current protecting elements(5) mounted in the rear of the first over-voltage protecting element so as to protect the equipment from the over-current being applied from a local line.
