PURPOSE: A method for controlling maturation in a Kimchi refrigerator is provided, which can control in considering the kinds of Kimchi, maturation speed, and keeping term. Whereby, it supplies the taste of Kimchi suitable to the various taste of users. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling maturation in a Kimchi refrigerator comprises the steps of: (i) a first step to initialize a microcomputer; (ii) a second step to setup a keeping term such as day, week, or month units, and the temperatures suitable to the setup terms, and set in the memory of the microcomputer; (iii) a third step to put Kimchi in a storing room, and choose a setting value; (iv) a fourth step to input plural keeping terms and temperature with key input without choosing the setting values; and (v) a fifth step to control a steamer and heater, measure the temperature in the storing room, and do feedback with the microcomputer.
