PURPOSE: A transition type display device using a micro optical modulator is provided to improve an optical efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The transition type display device comprises a back substrate(13) where top operating electrodes(11) and bottom fixing electrode(12) are formed, and a back light(14) to irradiate a light toward the back substrate, and a front substrate(16) facing with the back substrate, and an optical control film(18) to bend a light passing through the top operating electrodes and the bottom fixing electrodes toward a vertical direction as to the front substrate, by being formed on the front substrate. The back light comprises a lamp, a lamp housing including a reflection mirror and a waveguide plate. The back light irradiates the light generated from the lamp with an angle of 60-80 deg. as to the back substrate. |
