PURPOSE: A transformer is provided, in which a sectioning piece for producing standardized air gap is arranged, to thereby minimize inductance error of the coil and achieve an improved performance of the transformer. CONSTITUTION: A transformer(100) comprises a bobbin(120) having a hollow section(121), a coil(110) wound by several turns along the outer periphery of the transformer, and left and right pin coupling sections(123,124) divided by a mount groove(122) for mounting of an upper core(131), wherein left and right pin coupling sections receive a plurality of terminal pins(P) inserted into pin coupling sections; the upper core and a lower core(132) coupled to each other; and a sectioning piece(125) formed integrally with both ends of left and right pin coupling sections, and which sections the upper core and the lower core so as to provide a standardized air gap between both cores. The air gap reduces overall magnetic permeability and inhibits saturation of magnetic flux, to thereby minimize inductance error of the coil wound at the bobbin.
