PURPOSE: A cowl box structure is provided to place the structure inside a car room and to improve the rigidity thereof. CONSTITUTION: A passenger car type windshield glass(34) is formed in front of a driver's seat of an omnibus. A cowl top outer panel(40) is joined on one side of the lower surface of the windshield glass. A cowl top outer front panel(42) is joined to the front surface of the cowl top outer panel. A cowl inner lower panel(44) is joined to the lower part of the connecting part between the cowl top outer panel and the cowl top outer front panel. A cowl top outer reinforcement is joined between the cowl top outer panel and the cowl inner lower panel to form the whole structure to be closed. A dash panel(48) and a dash reinforcement(50) are joined on the lower part of the connecting part between the cowl inner lower panel and the cowl top outer reinforcement.
