PURPOSE: A field coil assembly is provided to connect easily a jumper connected electrically with an external power line with a bundle of coil of a field coil. CONSTITUTION: The first and the second flanges(4a,4b) have a ring-shaped structure, respectively. A ring-shaped web(4c) connects an end portion of the first flange(4a) with an end portion of the second flange(4b). A bundle of coil(5) is inserted into an inner portion of a coil housing(4). An insulator(6) is formed between the coil housing(4) and the bundle of coil(5). The insulator(6) is formed with a plastic resin. The insulator(6) has an extension portion(7) connected electrically with the coil wire(5a) withdrawn from the bundle of coil(5). A main terminal(9) is connected electrically with a female terminal(8). The male terminal(9) and a jumper(10) connected with an external circuit are formed with one body.
