PURPOSE: A four-way valve for combined cooler/heater air conditioner is provided to reduce manufacturing cost by simplifying the structure of the four-way valve, while preventing performance deterioration of air conditioner by avoiding pressure loss of refrigerant. CONSTITUTION: A four-way valve comprises a main body(105); a switching valve arranged within the main body and which switches the flow direction of the refrigerant gas discharged from a compressor toward a condenser and an evaporator; and a bi-directional motor(115) mounted onto the main body and which is fed with a power from a power unit and controlled by a controller so as to rotate the switching valve. The main body includes a first hole(105a) connected to the high pressure side of the compressor, a second hole(105b) connected to the condenser arranged at the outdoor unit, a third hole(105c) connected to the evaporator arranged at the indoor unit, and a fourth hole(105d) for allowing the low pressure refrigerant to flow into the compressor.
