PURPOSE: An automatic selection control method of a TV scart output is provided to offer a TV system capable of charged TV watching and recording playing of general signal by automatically select and control the scart output. CONSTITUTION: A scart pin voltage is detected to determine the action of an outer device connected to a scart jack. The detected scart pin voltage is compared to a preset level in order to determine the input/output status of the scart jack. If is determined that there is an output signal from the current scart jack, an RF(radio frequency) video/audio signal is output to the scart jack. If there is no output in the current scart jack and only the input status is maintained, an output video/audio signal to a video/audio processor for displaying image in a CPT(color picture tube) is output to the scart jack.
