摘要 PURPOSE: An immersion depth control method of an immersing nozzle is provided to prevent the cutting of the nozzle during the casting work for removing the danger of stopping the casting work and increase the continuous casting work time period influencing on the quality and the productivity directly. CONSTITUTION: An immersion depth control method of an immersing nozzle includes the steps of deducing the upper and lower limit critical values of immersion depth with reference to the immersion depth operated after correcting an equipment constant and a detection error according to a tundish and a mold by collecting upper and lower positions of the tundish and a real head top surface level continuously from a tundish upper and lower position detector and a mold head top surface level detector, thereby controlling the immersion depth within a preset upper and lower limit threshold value range when a vibration control mode is selected(203), wherein the immersion depth values set in the upper and lower limit threshold value range are in the shape of sine wave or a ramp up/down shape considering the operation characteristics of a lifting driving unit, and the correction of the set values according to the vibration frequency of the set values and the driving characteristics of a driving unit is used by parameter-processing.
