摘要 |
<p>A multi-layered nonwoven composite web has a first and third (12'; 20) layers of fibrous material selected from the group consisting of man-made, thermoplastic man-made staple fibres and combinations thereof and weighting between 0.05 and 10 ounces per square yard and having a second layer (14') of non-wood cellulose base staple fibre of between 0.1 to 10 ounces per square yard sandwiched between and all thermobonded into a coherent web with the area of bonding to being between 5-75% of the area of the web and having an air permeability of 25-37 cubic feet per minute per square yard. Also claimed are a composite where the first and third layers have a void volume in excess of 85% and a web having a wick rate of water of 0.01-0.05 grammes per second and a water retention value of 3 kPa of between 7 and 15.</p> |
