PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor in which the damage of a sensor element in its housing operation is hard to generate, in which the housing easiness of the sensor element is superior, in which the electric continuity of the sensor element to a metal terminal is ensured sufficiently and whose shape is small. SOLUTION: An element housing hole which is passed through a plurality of terminal housing holes is formed in an insulating insulator 3. A rib 321 or the like is formed on the inner wall of the element housing hole. The rib 321 is constituted in such a way that it is situated between a plurality of metal terminals 4, 49 by forming a gap. The metal terminals 4, 49 are arranged and installed at least partially inside the respective terminal housing holes. |
