PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee uniform gap width in a frame part, and to set degree of light shielding of a display part and the frame part nearly the same grade in a transmission type liquid crystal display. SOLUTION: In the transmission type color liquid crystal display device, a liquid crystal display panel and the light source disposed at the rear side of the liquid crystal display panel are included, the inside of the surface of the liquid crystal display panel is divided by the display part D and the picture frame part E disposed around the display part D, a color filter 14 is provided to the display part D, in the picture frame part E, the leader electrode 32 which is connected to the transparent electrode 31 of the display part D is wired with the prescribed angle to the transparent electrode 31 to the oblique direction. A dummy color filter 14A for which a black mask shields between each pixels also in the picture frame part E is formed, the leader electrode 32 is wired on the dummy color filter, and the black mask shields the interline portion of each leader electrode 32. |
