PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic cash register which enables the confirmation of registration contents even in the middle of registration without using any screen display unit even for operation for printing registration data at a time. SOLUTION: The electronic cash register which stores registration data on registered articles in a storage means and calculates the total amount of purchases, and issues a receipt where details are printed together according to the registration data stored in the storage means after closing operation for receiving money and for settlement is done is equipped with a confirmation print key which can be operated before the closing operation and is operated to issue written details for confirmation by printing the details of all registered articles according to the registration data stored in the storage means and cutting the receipt form.
