PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, compact and economical bathtub having a door for nursing care, which has a simple structure and is excellent in operability, safety and maintainability. SOLUTION: On one side wall 6 of a bathtub 1, an opening 2 having an openable door 3 is provided, and from the opening 2, a bather is put in/taken out from the bathtub 1. In addition, hot water is put in/taken out from a hot water transferring device 15 connected to the bathtub 1, and thus a bathing/ taking out is performed for this bathtub for nursing care. In such a bathtub for nursing care, a door-closing mechanism 11 is provided extending to the door 3 and the bathtub 1, and also, on the door-closing mechanism 11, an actuator 10 which clamps and seals the door 3 is provided. After the door 3 is manually closed to a non-watertight temporarily fastened state, by operating the actuator 10, the door 3 is clamped. Through the operations of at least those two processes, the bathtub having the door for nursing care is placed under a totally sealed state.
