PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power generation efficiency and thermal efficiency by reducing power energy of an air blower and to down-size a deformer, in a solid polymer fuel cell system having a steam reform type reformer and a CO converter. SOLUTION: In this solid polymer fuel cell having a steam reform type reformer and a CO converter, an anode off gas is used as a cooling catalyst of the CO converter, and then used as a heating fuel for the reformer. A cathode off gas is used in combusting the fuel for the reformer. |
