PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device, wherein a cartridge is surely held, jumping- out in the case of ejection is prevented, an operation is stabilized and operability is improved. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pull plate 60 guided to cross the insertion path of a cartridge 1 and move in parallel to the insertion direction of this cartridge, and the inserted cartridge is abutted on the pull plate. In both sides of the pull plate, fitting holding members 70 are provided to be a elastically fitted in the recesses 15 of the cartridge, the cartridge is held on the pull plate by these fitting holding members and, in the case of ejection, the pull plate is stopped in a specified position by a stopper.
