PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol-amino condensation resin excellent in heat resistance, water resistance, flame retardancy, mechanical strengths, curability, etc., and an epoxy resin composition using the resin. SOLUTION: The phenol-amino condensation resin is a condensation product from a phenol derivative, an aldehyde and a triazine derivative and has a ratio of weight average molecular weight (Mw) to number average molecular weight (Mn), Mw/Mn of 1.615. The epoxy resin composition is prepared by compounding an epoxy resin with the phenol-amino condensation resin.
