PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve error correction capability without increasing the computational complexity. SOLUTION: At a Viterbi decoding part 102-1, one of multiplexed channel signals that has the shortest frame length is decoded and the CRC decision is carried out to this decoding result at a CRC calculation part 103-1. At a weight coefficient calculation part 104, a large weight coefficient is outputted to the path metric of a time zone when the CRC decision result of the part 103-1 is 'OK'. Meanwhile, a small weight coefficient is outputted to the path metric of a time zone when the CRC decision result of the part 103-1 is 'NG'. Then the said weight coefficients are multiplied by the branch metric when the Viterbi coding of other channel signals are carried out at the Viterbi decoding parts 102-1 to 102-n. |
