heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used for partial and self-contained heating of dwelling houses and industrial buildings. Electric heater has housing with inlet and outlet water circulation holes closed through room heating system. Housing accommodates at least one insulated heating arrangement including electric heating element connected to supply source and heat accumulating substance. Heat accumulating substance consists of solid (ceramic) compound arranged inside from heating element surface and gaseous (air) compound out of surface of heating element. Such design of heater increases its efficiency owing to use of heating arrangement of low specific power and high transfer coefficient. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 9 cl, 2 dwg
