PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical fixation ring which can appropriately fix the sclera of an eye without damaging the sclera at the time of performing an aphthalmie operation on the eye. SOLUTION: A surgical swivel fixation ring device is provided with the surgical fixation ring which is used for fixing an eye and can be adjusted and rotated freely by 180 deg.. The ring is provided with protrusions which are designed to be automatically attached to the sclera without giving any damage to the sclera. The ring has an arcuate bottom which is designed to mate with the curvature of the sclera for reducing the slippage of the ring. It is preferable to constitute the device in such a unitary structure that the device can be reused after re-sterilization by steam, gamma rays, ETO, or the like.
