PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid optical module in which an expensive silicon substrate is not required and the workability of which is improved. SOLUTION: A prism 14 as the component of the hybrid optical module and a chip 12 on which an opto-mechanical conversion element is mounted are mounted on a different layer in multilayer ceramics by using the multiplayer ceramics 11. Chip thickness in which the opto-mechanical conversion element is mounted and the depth of the layer in the multilayer ceramics on which the chip is mounted are equalized approximately. |
