METHOD FOR CONTROLLING VARIABLE IPC ERROR HAVING HDLC FORMAT IN FULL ELECTRONIC TELEPHONE EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a variable IPC error having an HDLC(High level Data Link Control) format in a full electronic telephone exchange is provided to check IPC at regular intervals in normal times in consideration of the CPU performance of processors and to intensively check an IPC error, if it is generated, so that relevant diagnosis and action can be executed when the error is detected at more than a given frequency. CONSTITUTION: If power is supplied to FPHAs(Frame relay and Packet protocol Handler Assemblies) and FPRAs(Frame relay and Packet protocol Router Assemblies), a task is created at a chkipc_send block. At this moment, a chk_flag the task has is initialized as '0' to indicate a normal state(200). The task substitutes a rcv_flag for the chk_flag(201). Then the task checks the chk_flag(202). If the chk_flag is '0', the task clears the rcv_flag and the chk_flag as '1' to indicate an abnormal state(205). The task generates and sends a new message(208). The task checks a chkerr_cnt indicating an error counter value(209). In case that the chkerr_cnt is '0', which means that the error counter value has not been increased, the task sets a tm_weakafter value to '200'(211). If the chkerr_cnt is not '0', the task sets the tm_weakafter value to '50'(210).
