PURPOSE: A rearview mirror is provided to automatically fold the rearview mirror inside a spoiler at the same time as a putting of an astern gear. CONSTITUTION: A rearview mirror for a vehicle comprises fixing links(18a,18b) installed in a spoiler(12); a rotating guide(20) hinged with the upper fixing link(18a); a rotating shaft(24) fixed in the lower fixing link(18b); a main rotating link(14) fixed in the rotating shaft(24) and hinged with both sides of a rearview mirror(10); an auxiliary rotating link(16) hinged in the rotating guide(20) and in the rearview mirror(10); a motor installed inside the spoiler(12) for rotating only the main rotating link(14) by connecting with the rotating shaft(24); and a driver to drive the motor when an astern gear is put. The main rotating link(14) is fixed in the rotating shaft(24) to be rotatable. The rear end of the fixing link(18b) is rotated idly. The driver comprises an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) to feed a current signal into the motor, a timer circuit and a relay to control a driving time of the motor.
